Jacqueline Means is a proud Afro-Boricua trailblazer and a double major in Management Information Systems and Marketing with a minor in Neuroscience at the University of Delaware. As the founder of the Girls Empowerment STEM Initiative, Jacqueline is on a mission to inspire and educate underprivileged inner-city girls about the possibilities within science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Through her organization, Jacqueline conducts Girls Empowerment STEM Demonstrations, bringing hands-on STEM workshops directly to schools and community centers. Her efforts have sparked excitement and ambition in countless young girls, showing them that their potential is limitless.
Jacqueline’s dedication to empowering youth and promoting STEM education has earned her numerous awards and national recognition. She has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, The Today Show, The View, The Kelly Clarkson Show, CBS’s Mission Unstoppable (where she is a series regular), and many other platforms.
